Whether it seems ages away or this is the night before at some point you'll be struck with the wedding jitters, your nerves will start to get to you. Maybe only a tiny niggle, or maybe a complete meltdown, it affects everyone differently.

The trick is to identify whether your nerves are about the big day itself, or getting married to your partner. If you're uncomfortable being the centre of attention, like me, the idea of a whole day about yourself can be terrifying! The added pressures of friends and family politics, speeches if you're not a comfortable public speaker and endless photographs are enough to make even the most confident and outgoing of people feel a bit overwhelmed.
If you're worried that your nerves are more about spending the rest of your life with your partner then perhaps you need to take a step back from the pressures of the big day and assess your relationship. It's easy to get dragged in to the wedding machine and it puts an enormous strain on any relationship. Is there a problem with your relationship that needs addressing before you go on any further? Or is it the wedding taking over your lives and your just in need of a few days without the W word?!
